My Approach
My name is Jasmine Ross, and I founded Community of Color Organizing (COCO) to specialize in strategic civic engagement planning and jail-based voting efforts. I work specifically with organizations of color to help improve their strategic planning around civic engagement, with a focus on increasing voter turnout and helping formerly incarcerated/justice involved individuals exercise their right to vote.

My work with the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition (CCJRC) , The Sentencing Project, Public Welfare Foundation, Colorado Civic Engagement Roundtable and well over 2,000 justice-involved individuals has provided us with deep insights into the challenges faced by marginalized groups and the extensive experience to create strategies that work.
